    We received a very warm welcome from Church delegates at our first Churches Together England ( CTE) Conference. Canon Phil Harris was impressed with the contacts made for future fellowship.

    I’m pleased to share that Bishop Jo Aldred of CTC has agreed to become a Companion of OSL. Bishop Jo is a Bishop in the Church of God of Prophecy.He is also a broadcaster as well as ecumenism, providing Pause for Thought for BBC WM
    Jo has written a number of books including “Respect”about understanding Caribbean British Christianity, and “Thinking Outside the Box”. A Companion of the Order is a Bishop or Senior Leader of their Denomination and they become part of our advisory board. We not only honour their contribution to the Kingdom of God, we seek to draw from their spirituality and experience in ministry and walking with Christ.

    Canon Dave, Regional Dean Alan and myself also, this week, held a Skype meeting with a Christian leader in India who oversees 65 Churches. There is a possibility that they will be developing a relational link with us over the next year.

    We have received enquiries from Spain and France about developing Communities of St Leoanard and we are already in the process of recognising Canada.

    Please pray for our Canon Theologian Raymond, based in Switzerland. He is standing in faith over a serious illness. We pray for his healing, and that his family will be encouraged.

    Your servant
    ++ David
