WELCOME TO THE ORDER OF ST LEONARD (OSL)
This is both historic and exciting. An Order is a group of people bound together for purpose.
We believe that St. Leonards will be as prophetic and relevant today as when Leonard ministered in the sixth century.
Smith Wigglesworth prophesied in 1947 that before the revival comes there would not be any new denominations started but there would be a mighty move of the Holy Spirit from the UK to Europe when the Old and New, the Spirit and the Word come together....
I have had the privilege of ministering to over 20 different streams and denominations during the last forty years. It has been a beautiful insight into the various streams of Christendom.
The Christian faith has suffered division through lack of love, understanding and respect.
To those who truly love Christ who are born of His spirit, have reliance on His Word and who walk in faith, there is in OSL the opportunity to fellowship together. Out of this fellowship there can come an unprecedented unity which God has promised to bless.
The four main expressions of Christian worship are :
EVANGELICAL
CHARISMATIC
LITURGICAL
SACRAMENTAL
We may not all fully appreciate each other’s culture, yet history records great men and women emerging from every one of these streams.
Jesus Christ called for the disciples to ‘tarry’ until they received power, power came after unity... the cry of Christ was ‘that they may be one as we are one’.
Christian partnership is not the compromise of biblical truth, its building on it and learning to appreciate our divergence.
OSL is a platform for fellowship, training and mission. When the ‘tribes’ stand together the battle is more than able to be won.
Please check out OSL and then ask as many questions as you like - informal or ceremonial you are all welcome.
