From this years conference, we have moved forward in our mission to see the prayer of Christ in John 17 fulfilled.

Nupe Christian Fellowship in Nigeria have applied for affiliation; these Christian partners are bringing over 200 Churches into the Order…we welcome them.

As you can see, our new website has been released – we need you to give it life and vitality…articles, testimonies, photos, reports of interest to other partners of OSL..please send all submissions to our administrator, Mandy Cooper, at academia@orderofstleonard.org

Revd Canon Phil Harris attended our first Churches Together (CTE) conference in Derbyshire…we are so appreciative of the members for welcoming us to their grouping. Any of our member churches can apply to their local Churches Together as representatives of OSL.

So that our large and growing International presence can be given full support, we have appointed an International board, that will deal with the needs of the Nations in conjunction with the Trustees.

We are concentrating on four main aspects of the Order in the future

[1] the development of the Individual member.
Their progress in dependency on the Holy Spirit, and their commitment to a lifestyle of servanthood

[2] those churches who have committed them selves to the Order – we will seek to inspire them to live out in their community the principles of His Kingdom..

[3] To stand with our International partners in the development and growth of the Order world wide.

[4] the training, endorsement, and development of Chaplaincy within the Order, a opportunity to serve our community….
We welcome ministries who seek to embrace the principles of convergence to join with us in ministering ‘oneness” to this needy society – and the extended development of training opportunities and study with OSL ‘Academia’.

We appreciate Worship Academy; Revd Canon Chris is touching the Nations with the vibrancy of the lifestyle of Worship
Disciplining the Nations, Revd John is seeing teaching centre’s in the UK, France, Bulgaria, Romania, Poland.
Revd Brian Nish is establishing prayer groups throughout Northamptonshire, vibrant inter-church Christians praying for a move of God within their County.
Revd Raj Kaul reaching churches with the message of celebrating Diversity in church and community.
This in conjunction to his teaching manual on a Spiritual Journey into cross – cultural ministry..

Very Revd Alan Dickinson ..is part of the core leadership team that have established a “Oneness” leadership ministry attracting a growing number of leaders across the denominational divide in the North East.

We welcome Alan Dickinson as our first Regional Dean. He will give oversight to our Northern members and he will also receive applications from those within that region who seek to join the Order. Alan has a passion for a lifestyle of “Oneness” and has seen his community changed through their food bank programme and work among the Prison Population.
He will also represent us officially in any CTE major gatherings in the North.

As we grow geographically, we will prayerfully appoint Regional Deans to other parts of the UK.

I could share more, however, this is my first “Leonard’s Letters” – let us pray for the spiritual awakening in our land.

We are also planning to visit Holy Island in the North east for a long weekend; this ancient Celtic well of revival was one of the birthplaces of Christian heritage …I hope you will consider joining us (more details to follow at a later date).

May the Spirit of Christ inspire you to humility and thanks giving

    ++ David
