6th November is St Leonard’s Day. OSL’s member churches will be taking up their offerings this Sunday for the work of the Order – but they won’t be alone in recognising this day. Up and down Britain, hundreds of churches will be remembering their namesake and in Bad Tölz, Bavaria there will be a huge festival for St Leonard. Across Europe, too, hundreds of St Leonard’s churches will remember the life and extraordinary works and miracles of this humble monk, who dedicated his life to liberty, for all, in the Lord.
